Real workflows, not demos
A skill listing is only as good as the jobs it unlocks. Two we expect to see a lot of:
1. Apify sales outreach with x402
Your agent runs an Apify scraper to build a lead list, drafts a personalized first touch, and sends it from a Mermail inbox. When it hits a pay-to-continue step — a premium data source, a verification service, a gated enrichment API — it pays with x402 through the Mermail wallet, keeps the receipt, and keeps going. No human digging for a card number mid-flow.
2. Customer support triage
Inbound support mail lands in a Mermail inbox. The agent categorizes the ticket, drafts a warm acknowledgment, escalates urgent accounts, and — when the fix requires a paid action — pays for it from the wallet and attaches the receipt to the thread. The support queue runs itself, with every dollar accounted for.
Make agents pay, help people earn
That is the whole thesis. Agents that can pay unlock a new kind of work: services and creators get paid for what their APIs and skills do, and agents settle the bill automatically with a clean, auditable receipt trail. The human stays in control of spend limits and approvals; the agent handles the transaction.
