What can I install today?

Each template has two ways to start. Install writes the official skill globally so later chats can invoke it by name. SKILL.md pastes the Identity persona into this chat or custom instructions. Connect MCP first either way.

Does this last beyond one chat?

Install does: the official skill stays in your user-level skills directories. Later, say mermail-scheduling-agent, mermail-gtm-agent, mermail-support-agent, or mermail-x402-agent, or describe the job. SKILL.md runs the persona in this chat unless you save it as a custom instruction.

Do I need a console account?

Yes. Create a workspace and a project API key before an agent can provision an inbox or call MCP tools.

Where is the API reference?

Which client should I start with?

Cursor has a one-click OAuth MCP install. Hermes uses auth: oauth plus hermes mcp login mermail. Claude and Codex have plugins. Other hosts use the Portable tab on /agents.
